Welcome to the website of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. OU is the flagship university in the state of Oklahoma and we are one of its strongest units with an outstanding national reputation for quality research. We are a collegial department with 29 full-time faculty and over 110 graduate students. Norman is a great place to live! WE HAVE MOVED! The department is now located in the Stephenson Life Sciences Research Center (101 Stephenson Parkway, Norman, OK 73019-5251) on the University's research campus near Jenkins Avenue and Highway 9, just east of the Lloyd Noble Center. Our undergraduate teaching laboratories, and our Undergraduate Student Advising Office (CHBA 213) are still located on the Main Campus.
