You must complete both a Departmental application and an application for admission to the Graduate College. The Departmental application also serves as an application for financial aid. You should make arrangements to take the General Graduate Record Examination (General GRE) and have the scores reported directly to the admissions committee at the address shown below. The General GRE score is REQUIRED. We also recommend that you take and report the advanced GRE test in Chemistry.
Fall Semester Applications are due April 1st.
Spring Semester Applications are due September 1st.
Summer Semester Applications are due February 1st.
Application Procedure
1. Print the Departmental Application Form and Letter of Recommendation Form which are available here as PDF (printable files). A free, downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF file reader is available is available on-line.
2. Request an application to the Gradate College through their website: http://gradweb.ou.edu/Prospective/AdmissionsProcedures/MastersDoctoral.asp
3. Provide all documents requested from both the Department and/or the Graduate College Office of Admissions.
