Information on Advising and Enrollment for Undergraduate Majors in Chemistry and Biochemistry
Advising and Enrollment Advising Appointments Advising appointments may be made approximately two weeks prior to each semester's enrollment. Chemistry and Biochemistry majors should receive a reminder message via e-mail. Appointments can be scheduled by simply signing-up on the appointment sheets which are posted outside of the advising office in the Chemistry Building Annex room 214. ). Students majoring in Chemistry or Biochemistry must be advised each semester before they can enroll. Students who are in University College must be advised by a University College advisor. When students come to the advising appointment they should have a "trial schedule" created in their online enrollment shopping cart, or a least an idea of the courses they want and need to take. Students must also familiarize themselves with their specific degree requirements. Enrollment Chemistry and Biochemistry majors in the College of Arts and Sciences must be advised in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department prior to enrollment. At the advisement meeting they will review their trial schedules with their advisor. After a schedule is decided upon, the students will be authorized to enroll via online enrollment. The online enrollment page is http://enroll.ou.edu. Students are not enrolled during their advising appointment. They must enroll after being advised.
